Holding a law degree with specialization in Legal Tech and AI, she has built strong expertise in global governance law and digital policy. Luana has developed a distinguished professional and academic career, becoming a reference figure in the regulation of emerging technologies.

She has played an active role in shaping major European AI policies, contributing to the drafting of strategic regulations such as the EU AI Act, a milestone in global AI governance, and the Digital Services Act, where she participated in hearings and proposed significant amendments. She also contributed to the drafting of the Code of Practice on Disinformation, later transformed into a Code of Conduct under the DSA, and to the first Code of Practice on Generative AI, anticipating international guidelines on transparency and technology ethics.
